This is for my sister-in-law's birthday next month. I got the idea from Jodie at http://www.vintagericrac.blogspot.com/. She's hilarious! She was busy making stage curtains, costumes, and even decorating shoes, and then her son asked her to make a placemat for the cat, which she did. :>} When I asked her if she minded if I borrowed the expression she said it has been around forever, and wasn't really hers. I hadn't heard it, but I like it, and it suits my sister-in-law perfectly. She is one of the busiest people I know, and is always helping someone.

It is amazing what nature can do!!! The flowers are beautiful :-)
I love the wallhanging and the saying you embroidered in the center. I'm sure she'll love it!
I enjoy the beauty you find in flowers, Diana. I'm glad that you share it here on your blog. The wallhanging is lovely. You have such creative sewing talents. What a wonderful gift it will be. :)
Thats a lovely quilt, I have been told that quote often when I want someone to do something. Love your flowers. I have an award on my blog for you.
Take care Suzanne.
Jodie is also from Australia, so maybe the expression is used more often there then here. It makes sense to me! Thank you all for your awards, some of which I have completely neglected. I am just not good at doing that, and I would rather sew than struggle with the computer. I do appreciate your kind thoughts, however, and I wonder who makes up all these awards and rules. :>}
Woo Hoo - It looks great ! You seem to be pretty busy yourself!
Hope the peaches are yummy! We bought some so-so peaches at the grocery store. I'm sure yours will be better. I have a pillow-making question I'm going to email you. Love, Sara
