A Happy Day

Yesterday was Larry's and my 28th anniversary. I made my dress and his suit and shirt. My dress was made from some curtains, and it was meant to be a sample so I could see if I liked the pattern, but I liked it so much I used the sample for the real thing.

We had a tasty homemade ice cream cake.

Company came for dinner. On the right is my sister-in-law, Judy, my husband Larry, our oldest son, Daniel, and my brother, Peter's profile.

On the left is my brother, Peter, my sister, Sara, and another picture of Daniel. David was at band practice and arrived home about twenty minutes after the company left. We saved some dinner for him!

Congratulations on your 28th wedding anniversary. You were so clever to do all that sewing. Your dress looks beautiful. Thanks for the sneak peak at your family, its nice to see them sitting around the table.

Congratulations!! 28 years! That's such an achievement ;-)
You both look beautiful in your wedding-picture! I am really impressed you did all that sewing... A wedding dress, suit, and shirt...that's a lot of (really challenging) sewing.
I'm glad you had a great day celebrating with your family :-)
