small miracles

It's been ever so much fun watching the peas grow. First small green leaves, then little tendrils, then blossoms, then a tiny flat pod emerging from the blossom. Pretty soon the pod gets longer, then puffs out, and . . .
we have peas to eat! Yummy! I ate one of these before Larry suggested I take its photo. Our peas will never make it to the cooking pot. We love to eat them raw. Mmmm - so tasty!

I remember watching peas grow when I was a kid. We'd check their progress every day. I think I'd cook them before eating them, though. I don't care much for them raw. :)

That's what happens to my green tomatoes , but this year the Deer beat us to them...we since covered them with Deer netting...Ginny

I always loved peas raw we never got to cook any either. Now we dont grow them anymore.
