Tomatoes: 17 Pumpkins: 0 Quilt Top: 1

I finally finished stitching the I Spy quilt top. Now to add the batting, backing and binding. The back will be orange and the binding black.

While still on the (temporary) design wall.

The morning glories are so beautiful!

Pretty lily!

The coleus is coming along nicely.

Our one tomato plant has 17 green tomatoes on it! Our pumpkin plants have 0 pumpkins on them.

Your I SPY is fantastic! The frames around the pictures are so striking. What a great idea :)
It'll look fantastic with the black binding to tie it all together. You are happy with it, right?!
Do you have to give it away? Or do you get to keep it?

Thanks, Tine and Suzanne! Yes, I am happy with the quilt; I love bright colors. It is one of those projects that got set aside too many times so I feel like it has taken forever. I hope to get it quilted and bound this week. It's for the grandson of a gal at work. To quote my brother, "no good deed shall go unpunished". Having made quilts for new babies and grandbabies of co-workers before, I feel obligated to continue. It's lucky I enjoy it!

I hope your pumpkins catch up to your tomatoes! :D

Your quilt is gorgeous, Diana! You've put a lot of work into this one.

Thanks, Daisy! I'm not sure why we can't grow pumpkins, but their blossoms are pretty. This is a really easy patchwork pattern, but choosing and cutting the squares did take some time. :>}
