My nephew is a young single guy who goes to church dinners. I needed an idea for his birthday, so his mother (my sister who was visiting) said perhaps something to keep his dish warm while he takes it to church. I found the tutorial by checking Google, and found some nice manly fabric in my stash. The directions said to use a shoestring to tie it closed, and I can't tell you how happy it made me to find that we had one the right color! It is the little things that make us happy, don't you agree? I realized after I took the picture that I left the bow's end askew, but it really does lie down nicely underneath the bow.

Has a picture of how butter comes in the UK - 250g packets. Most have 50g divisions on the wrapping so you can cut a 2 or 4oz chunk for baking easily.
Isn't it funny the things that are different and similar in the world :-)

Thank you! I had such fun "window shopping" in the UK. I have a day off and am half heartedly cleaning our porch. Obviously a lot of stalling is involved here. :>}

Thanks, Daisy, I'm glad you like the dish warmer. I hope he does, too! When the boys were teenagers we just gave them money, but he has his own home now, and I like him to look around and see things that remind him Aunt Diana loves him. :>}
Suzanne, I was so surprised and pleased to get your delightful package in the mail. The nice thing about stuffed bears is that they don't outgrow beautiful baby clothes, or spit up on them, or any of those things. :>} Do you think your mum would mind if you gave me her address so I can write to thank her?
