Rethinking

I know, I keep saying I don't like to shop, but look what I found at Goodwill! Cute little bread and butter plates. I like them on this fabric much better than. . . what I intended to use it for - the backing and sashing for an I Spy quilt. I think I'll use white for that - unless you have a better idea?

Wow I like your find and the fabric. Quiet a few years ago I bought similar fabric and made it into a dress.
I loved that dress.

Actually the fabric pattern looks almost identical.

I think the blue and white would make a very pretty tablecloth. Those are such cute dishes!

Yes, I agree about the white for the backing for the I Spy quilt. I think it will make the squares stand out more.

The dishes look so pretty on a print fabric like you have. The quilt blocks are so cheery and white would work good for spacing them out. Have a good week. blessings,Kathleen

I find that the fabric shows off and enhances the delicate patterned edges of your great dishes find. Too busy and soft for the strong elements of your I Spy quilt blocks. Have you thought about a solid dark colour for your quilt?

Ladydi, I think a tablecloth for those dishes out of that blue fits it to a "T" find something else for the backing...white would be nice...Goodwill has some good
stuff sometimes....Ginny
