sewing, cooking, and snow

I'm thinking black for the border. This is just a tiny project for fun. I promised Ginny I would serve my family actual cooked food for breakfast today.
I really do know how to cook!

See, I wear an apron and everything.

A little more snow for Suzanne, because she keeps telling me she likes it. You know what? I used to. I really did. We used to take our children sledding when they were little, and as a child I LOVED to play in the snow. Somehow as I've gotten older it's lost some of its appeal.

It might have something to do with the time Larry broke his ankle while we were sled riding.
Or maybe all the times David has gotten into snow related car mishaps, the most recent being last week.

Oh I am sorry to hear that! Is David okay??
The pancakes look yummi :) Mmmm....I made some for my kids, and they didn't want them!!! They wanted cereal instead. Lol! So Charles and I had a big breakfast that day :)
The black and white project is great, your piecing is always so accurate.

Hope your son is OK, I suppose snow is very dangerous if you are driving in it.
Thank you for still posting some snow photos though.
Your pancakes look delicious, I was going to make some yesterday and I forgot. Now you have sparked my memory.

Yes, thankfully, David is fine. His car is being repaired, and the other driver is also fine. Thank goodness!

Those pancakes look delicious. I haven't made those in a while. I'll have to do that again soon.

So sorry to hear about your son's accident, but I'm glad he was OK. I am with you on having had enough of the snow and cold weather. It bothers me more too as I have gotten older.

I really do cook, just not usually breakfast. It seems like a shame to mess the kitchen up so early in the day. :>} Last night we had salmon, mashed potatoes, broccoli, peas, and applesauce. Tonight we had leftovers. :>} I don't cook EVERY day, which is why I look on leftovers as treasures.
