Way too cold!

Brrr. . . it is way too cold to go up in the attic today to bring down the Christmas decorations. I spent the time making some for other people instead. This one is for Larry's boss, Dave. They are a tree service, so I had to include some trees! We also always give him a BIG bag of peanut m&m's - his favorite.
I made the Raggedys about 34 years ago. They've held up well!

The cat has been a big help all day. Every thing I worked on was under his scrutiny.

The Christmas cactus is at its peak. Lovely!

I hope you have a joyous time preparing for Christmas.

Diana, you are such a busy gal. I don't know how you get so many crafty projects done. Those decorations are so cute!
Believe it or not, I made a couple of Raggedy Ann dolls probably about 31 or 32 years ago (can't remember exactly when, but I was in high school at the time!) HA! It's been a while.
Glad to see your cat is keeping an eye on things. Cats make good supervisors. ;)

Daisy, I hope you still have your Raggedys! I'm sure we must have used the same McCalls pattern. I think I still have it! Do you still sew?

Tine, I'm glad you like them. They spend most of the year on the closet shelf, but they come out to play in December. :>}

Diana you have been keeping busy getting Christmas organised. I still need to make some more cards to send to Allans mum and dad.
I love the Raggedy Ann dolls, I still have the golden book from when I was a baby about Raggedy Ann and Andy.
Have a good week.

Diana, I think my mom still has one of them. Yes, it was from a store bought pattern--probably was the same McCall's one. I think I may even still have the pattern too, but I'm not sure. I don't do much sewing anymore except to mend things or sew on buttons and such. My sewing machine doesn't work very well anymore so it is frustrating to try and use it.
