baby quilt top

The top is finished, now I just have to decide how to quilt it, and what color to use for the binding. I'm thinking a lovely coral color - the color of a perfect sunset. Decision making is not my best trait and suggestions are welcome. Thanks!

It is gorgeous!! I love that cloudprint :)
I think your idea of a coral binding will look fantastic. I usually choose something a little boring, and would probably settle for a green or a blue....your idea of coral is much much better!

Beautiful baby quilt top, Diana! I think coral will set off the blue just right and be bright and cheery!

I have some lovely binding fabric you could use..... no seriously, I wouldn't spoil this lovely quilt with my 'lovely' fabric, and I think the coral sounds like it will add a nice bit of 'zing'!

The quilt came out beautiful, you do lovely work ....why not try a small piece of the coral and step away from it to see how you like it! then decide...Ginny

Thanks, friends! Please do go visit Lady Hopwood, and then you will see what she is talking about. She has a darling piece of fabric that she DOESN'T LIKE (but I do like), and is committed to using it along with three others she does like, to make something.

Ginny, of course that is the sensible way to try it - good suggestion.

The more I look at it the more I wish I had made coral cornerstones - ah well, an idea for next time.

A beautiful quilr- only wish I had the patience!

You would be mad to use Lady Hopwood's fabric - it is LOUD!! Can't wait to see what she does with it.
