Good food and good books

This is my favorite of Earlene Fowler's books. It is filled with lovely quilt patterns and stories to go with them.
Our oldest son, Daniel, is kindly posing with a dish of fresh Ohio grown peaches. Isn't he a sweetheart?

I've been rereading these Benni Harper books by Earlene Fowler this summer. Each title is the name of a quilt pattern, and the main character, Benni, is the curator of a folk art museum.

What wonderful-looking books!! I will have to see if I can find some of those :-)
Your son is a very handsome young man, it must be so nice to have him with you!

Your comment about the wonky stars made me LOL! I think you either like the wonky style or you don't -there's no in between ;-)
One of my friends is the same way, she doesn't like it at all!

Peaches yummy and your son is good to pose for you. Dont you just love books that are about your crafts. I have a huge collection. Do you read your books over and over again.

Those look like interesting books. That's a nice way to combine two of your interests in one with books that talk about your hobby.

Your son is indeed handsome and those peaches look yummy! There's nothing quite like a sweet, juicy, fresh peach in the summertime. :)

Yes, I do read my books over and over again. It's kind of like visiting with a good friend again and again. I have a friend who would never consider reading a book a second time because she says it takes time away from different books she could be reading. True, but there's nothing like an old favorite!
