Our backyard is quite small, and in the winter it seems like a waste to fill so much of it with something we can't use, but oh! the joy of swimming in the summer makes it all worthwhile.
This is our twelfth summer with our pool, and we have learned ever so much about pool maintenance. The main thing is that plain old grocery store bleach works just as well as chlorine and costs a whole lot less.
I did go to the post office today with Suzanne's and Nathan's wall hangings, since I didn't have their addresses on Tuesday when I went. It's quite thrilling to send something across the ocean!
Have a great weekend, and come join me for a swim.

Indeed what a blessing....Most often it's not what you have it's the way you use it :o) that small yard gives you a lot of pleasure with a pool as my "Almost an Acre" gives me being an imaginary farm...We survive and enjoy :o)Have a blessed day....Ginny B.
The pool looks lovely and very inviting! I'm so jealous! HA! Enjoy it while the hot weather is here.
Have a great weekend! :D
Wow your water looks so nice and blue. I would never have thought to use it for doing laps, what a good idea.
Thanks again and I say it nice to receive gifts that come across the ocean.
I would love to come join you for a swim! But I guess it's a bit far... You could also come here! We are going to the zoo!
