Diana my house is always in dire need of some attention. But I like what you chose more the day sounds like a wonderful way to spend a day and as they always say it will keep to tomorrow, so no need to worry about your home.
Thanks, Daisy! It's amazing how many people feel that way about dust - how refreshing. And I did clean right before my sister came (3 weeks ago - LOL).
HA! Makes sense to me. I can remember a few times when I cleaned the house, and one of the boys would ask who's coming to visit. I had to explain to them that I was just cleaning because it was dirty not because we were going to have company!! :D
Oh dear. Recent circumstances mean that my house is practically beyond fixing. Thank heavens for an incredibly kind and very domesticated Mr Locket! (To be fair, he's always done more of the housework than me because I'm most often off making something instead!) Lucy xx ;o)
LOL, Daisy, my boys have done the same thing. Now they're a bit more tactful. They say, "Is someone coming to visit?" Instead of just assuming someone must be coming if Mom was cleaning.
Lucy, Mr. Locket is a treasure! Larry has taken on quite a few household tasks since he's been semi-retired. When he worked full time that was not at all the case.
Ginny, I love to click on the beach photo, too. We took our boogie boards and rode the gentle waves - it was great!
I have been happily married to Larry since 1980. We have two handsome sons and a charming black cat. I enjoy sewing, swimming, reading, and walking all equally, which works out well because I have something I enjoy doing no matter what the season.

Thank you, Suzanne! (Just give me a call before you drop by so I can dust off the furniture.) :>}
I agree. Dust can wait. It will still be there later. It's not going anywhere.
Very pretty wall hangings, Diana. :-)

Everything looks good, but that water clicked on looks like it's waiting for me to jump in!...Ginny
