Never quite finished

After hanging this up I realized that it needs a little bit more quilting in the white corners. It's not too late! I was sorry to have to chop off the points of the white squares, but I had just enough of the green to make the triangles the size they are, which is not quite large enough. I am trying to "shop from my stash" instead of buying new fabric. I have plenty, so much that sometimes I forget about a particular piece, and it's great fun to come across something I didn't remember was there. :0}
The pattern came from this book, which is like visiting a flower show. So perfect for February in Ohio! I'm going to try a flower pot next, from the same book. I bought it quite some time ago, after admiring it on Lisa's blog, and am just now finding time to try the patterns.

I hope you have a delightful weekend! Only a few more weeks until Spring, thank goodness.

Very pretty, Diana! That book sounds like a good one too. Anything that brings flowers to mind this time of year is good to have around, I think. :)

I like the idea of shopping from your stash, its my motto this year too.
I really like the look of your book, I am sure there is lots of inspiration in it and you will be whipping up lots of patterns soon.

I just LOVE your pansies! Some of my favourite flowers, especially winter pansies which just go on and on flowering.
Even though you had to cut off the white corners I don't think it looked 'wrong' or anything because they were uniform...if it was me they'd all have been squiff and you'd have looked and said 'huh, she ran out of fabric', your's looks like a design choice in MY opinion!
