All done! No more whining. There are lots of things to love about winter. Baking bread. . .
and rolls.
and working on my hand quilting project. Even though I've changed my mind, and think the colorful thread on black has to go. Plain black looks more elegant.
I've been inspired to get out there and walk no matter what, thanks to the 100 mile fitness challenge. I love the way they count miles! Every fifteen minutes of exercise counts as a mile - nice!

Mmmmm! That bread looks delicious :) And your quilt looks great :)
You're a better person than I am, Diana. I'm still whining about the winter weather. HA! Your bread and rolls look yummy, and I think your quilt is beautiful no matter what color thread you use.
Woo hoo! look who's baking bread and making my mouth water :o) between you and Kathleen I'll be gaining back all the weight I've lost :o(.now it's slowly coming back).I'm in the mood for making some bread too! and just found some "Country Rolls by Kathleen that I'm going to try making...I make a pretty good "Angel Biscuit" ( I add yeast to them) but today I'm making Kathleen's recipe ..from "My Country Kitchen"..with grilled Lamb chops, Sweet potatoes,grilled tomatoes, and I don't know what veggies yet!...Ginny
Thanks, Ladies! My mom always made bread on snow days from school and I've continued the tradition.
Daisy, with each of these snowy days that goes by we are one day closer to spring! (not that I'm wishing my life away, mind you LOL)
Ginny, you are making my mouth water with your splendid dinner. Greens sound really good with that. Mmmmm.
Thanks so much for joining the 100 Mile Fitness Challenge!! I know that I get bored with walking/running for all my workouts, so I think the 15 minutes helps people branch out and shake things up a bit.
Best wishes!
Trish
The bread and rolls look so yum. I cheat when making bread and use the machine.
Trish, that fitness challenge is the best thing that could happen to me in January! Thank you so much for organizing it. It helps to get me bundled up and out the door even on these cold, snowy days.
Suzanne, homemade bread is still good, no matter how you make it. :>}
