Wow I love seeing the squirrel (it is a squirrel isn't it). We don't have any of them around. Your quilt looks fabulous, I thought you put all the guitars on yourself until I saw the fabric.
Yes, I'm thinking of a larger quilt for David for Christmas, but I'm having trouble making decisions on it. I'd like to applique a full sized guitar in the middle and have blocks surrounding it. I looked through my entire stash, and I do not possess one piece of gray fabric. How can that be? I don't want it to be all primary colors - he is 21 years old after all!
And yes, the two smaller animals are squirrels, one in the tree and one on the grass. The one dumpster diving is a raccoon, who found a slice of pizza to munch on. David caught it on his cell phone. Cute!
Diana, I bet your guitar quilt will be great. You have such a wonderful way of coordinating fabrics and pulling your designs together. I like the fabric with the little musical notes on it. I love the squirrel and raccoon photos too! :D
I have been happily married to Larry since 1980. We have two handsome sons and a charming black cat. I enjoy sewing, swimming, reading, and walking all equally, which works out well because I have something I enjoy doing no matter what the season.

The little guitarquilt is so sweet. And the fabrics and the squares for the big one looks amazing! Is that a Christmas-project?

Had to pop over and have a look. I loved the quote on the guitar quilt. Could so work with shoes as well.
