Aren't these turtles charming? They're Lisa Boyer's pattern. Of course I'm not quite finished yet, but it's been a busy few days. 
When Larry and I go for walks, one of our favorite things to do is walk along waterways where turtles like to sun themselves on rocks or logs. Sometimes they're all lined up, and when they see humans, they plop into the water one by one, much like dominoes falling. Cute! If we wait quietly, they slowly clamber back upon the log to resume their enjoyment of the sunshine.I bought this pattern a whole year ago, and am just now putting it together. What fun!

Wow I love the turtles what a cute design. We used to have some turtles not far from here but I havent seen them in a while.
I bought a pattern today for patchwork and just want time to get stuck into it.
Those are really cute, Diana! When I was a little girl, we used to ride bikes to a nearby creek and watch for turtles on the rocks.

Oh, Diana...they're adorable!! I'm so glad you're enjoying making up the pattern! You're doing a great job--your fabrics are lovely. Oh, I'm so excited you're making my little Honu's!! Just wait 'till you sew on their little beady eyeballs! That's the funnest part--they really come alive. Yay!
