Christmas reading

We went to visit my mom today, and wanted to take some books to read aloud. People with Alzheimer's Disease tend to say the same thing over and over again unless you introduce a diversion. Reading was a perfect diversion today, and these make excellent Christmas reading.
Oh, and a bit of Christmas sewing, as well.

Reading during your visit with your Mom is a good idea, Diana. It helps to pass the time. I'm sure she enjoyed it and your company as well. I like your sewing too. Very nice.

I can imagaine your mum really enjoying that you read to her. It can be hard sometimes, as I know they get anxious too when they are trying to remember what has and hasnt been said.

Daisy and Suzanne, I visited both your blogs this morning, and saw such darling videos you both shared. What a great way to start the morning!
