Good Reading by Jan Karon

I love it when one of my favorite authors has written a lot of books; I have the next one to look forward to when I finish reading one. I have read this series through twice, and am now reading it aloud to my mom. She has also read them, but it's been a while and. . . we all know that rereading a good book is like revisiting a good friend.
I'm about a third of the way through a bigger project that this saying will become part of. For once I didn't borrow anyone else's expression - this is my own, which I freely share as so many have shared with me. I hope to have the project finished by the end of the month.

I liked this Hawaiian fabric so much that I bought a lot. Enough to make a jacket for work (we wear scrub jackets) and lots of other things as well. You'll be seeing more of it.

I always reread books again and again. The same with movies on TV, I just keep watching the same ones.

We have just come back from Tim's driving test and he is a little upset as he didn't pass so trying to keep his confidence up.

Hope you have a good day and I am hoping to do a blog post before the weekend.

Jan Karon is a pretty popular author among those who visit at our library too. That fabric is such a pretty blue. I can understand why you bought a lot. Hope you have a wonderful weekend. :)

I'm surprised I've never heard of that author.

Perhaps I'll have to give her a try.

Thanks for popping by my blog.

Hope to see you soon.
