I have been having a great time knitting more snowmen. I was going to give him some to take along, because Florida is well known for its lack of snow. One of the gals at the library knitting group I attend (who doesn't let politeness get in the way of truth) said, "He won't take those with him."
Oh. Of course I wasn't going to give him all the snowmen. I am keeping some, and have plans for the others. I know when someone is relocating it is hard enough to decide what to take without having unwanted snowmen thrust upon them. So what do you think? Shall I give him some snowmen?
Many thanks to David for sharing his computer with me. The "D" won't work on ours, and when your name is ladydi you need the "D".

Diana, I love the wall hanging and the snowmen! Those snowmen are so cute!! I don't know why that woman said that. How rude! How would she know what he would or would not take with him? I like your idea of sending some of your snowmen with him. I think they would be cute reminders of his former home.
Thanks, Daisy! I think I will carry out my original plan thanks to your input.
Hi Diana, You have so good ideas! I love those snowmen you make! I would not say no, if I could get one! ;-) Have a nice weekend! We have got a little more snow today...
That wall hanging is so great! I love that focus fabric :) The snowmen are fantastic - I would say keep them all for yourself they look to cute together. But I am also sure, that he will take themm with him to Florida! No doubt in mind at all. I think the whole idea of giving him some snowmen to remind him of the cold winters of his former home is so nice! I am sure he will love the snowmen you give him.
Don't listen to Jealous Jodie! Let your heart lead you and forget about what's said! That gift may be one of the gifts he treasures years later and give him some fond memories of his old friends, and to know someone cares....Ginny
Anne, Tine, and Ginny, I thank you for your encouragement and kind words. Yep, he's getting the snowmen! Larry suggested telling him that if he thinks they'll be too hot there, I can care for them here for him. :)
Love it all, especially the way you set up the wall hanging under the snowman.
Yes I would give him a snowman to take for sure.
The hanging is only gorgeous but you HAVE to absolutely give him a snow man or two! When I lived in East Africa I missed the snowy stuff at Christmas, and you can laugh if you like...but I knitted myself and the three girls each a snowman one Christmas! They still have theirs, and that was years ago!
