Loving September

I love everything about September. Except for one thing. It means summer is ending. Can you see the two deer just leaving our yard? They came to visit the apple tree, and our cat found them quite interesting. We did too!
The morning glories still have a few blooms left.

The tomatoes are turning red.

A sign welcoming you to Northfield Village, where we live.

This Tigridia is a one day wonder. It lasts just one day then folds up and falls off the stem. We planted 20 bulbs and two have survived. Hmmm, not a good survival rate.

The apple apron for my sister-in-law.

It's reversible!

Wishing you a joyous weekend. It's Labor Day weekend here, and we all appreciate having an extra day off tomorrow! We're thinking of heading for the beach very early before the crowds arrive. By the time they arrive I'll be back at home sewing. :>}

That one-day flower is beautiful. Maybe more of them will bloom next year?!
I can't believe you had deer in your garden, that's amazing!
The apron is so cute, I am sure it'll make the apple-theme much more fun :)
Have a great time at the beach, and remember your camera!!

Wow I find it amazing that you have deer come into your yard.
Your town looks just like a wonderful place to live and I love the apron.

You need a gun and a deer slayer!
Watch those tomatoes..the deer will nibble on them if they don't just destroy them...
I love that apron...matches my kitchen's Apple design...you look like you spiffed yourself up for that picture "June Cleaver" :o)
Ginny who is watching.

I hate to see the end of summer too, Diana. I hope the mild weather we've been having will continue for a while yet. I enjoyed all your photos. The reversible apron looks very nice. Well done! :Dr
