This week I don't get my day off, so I thought I'd invite my blog friends to come to work with me. One of the gals is on vacation, and it is our very busiest time of year, so I'm spending a lot of time here. This is our waiting room.
While you're waiting to see the doctor you can read all the interesting things on our bulletin board. These are mostly selected by the doctors, but I get a bit of input. :>}
We have things to read to help pass the time.
Everybody LOVES to play with the train. I disinfect it every few days, because it gets covered with lots of sticky finger prints.
Would you like to wear a mask? Or use a tissue or some hand sanitizer?
If you're a good girl, you get to choose a lollipop, or even two!
How do you like my mouse pad? Vista Print can do amazing things with photos.
I quietly slip small quilts in here and there. I'm thinking of adding a bigger one this week.
Here is where I sit, ready to greet the patients and do what I can to help them. Good morning, may I help you?
I hope you have a lovely day, and thank you for visiting me at work.

Thank you for the taking us to your work for the day. I am very happy to see many of your quilts on the walls.
I could imagaine sitting waiting while Shakira played with that train and I read a magazine.
That looks like a very friendly and welcoming space. I'm glad you get to include some of your wall hangings...is your desk REALLY that tidy?
Thank you for showing us round, it was lovely!
If we don't get to a Doctor's office within a month or pick up medicine...we get frightened :o)...
Now all I have to do is visit your blog to feel comfortable :o)
By the way, where's the bottle of water for your desk? :o) Ginny
Thanks for visiting, ladies! Suzanne, I took two more quilts to work today. I decided if I am going to spend 50 hours a week there, it needs to look a little homier. I hope Shakira enjoyed the train! :>}
Heckety, I took the picture at 7:25 a.m., and start work at 7:30. Once the phone starts ringing and people start dropping large paper ojects on my desk, it looks a bit different. LOL!
Miss Ginny, I laughed when I read your comment about the water. Do you see the covered cup tucked back beyond the mouse? It's full of ice water - really. We had a darling woman in today who reminded me of you. She is 75, and came for the first time. Her son told her she needed to fast for it, and she was STARVING at 5:30 p.m.. She didn't need to fast, so I offered her an apple that I had in my bag. She was happy to have it!
That was fun to visit your office, Diana. It looks like you have a lovely, clean, friendly, and comfortable place to work. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Thanks, Daisy!
